Memphis sends: Z-Bo, Carter
Phx sends: Chandler, Tucker

Why for Memphis? Injury insurance and nice strong bench pieces. Chandler fits way better into their scheme and could rehab himself some good value (maybe even be flipped?) and Tucker is good insurance for Parsons and also allows Parsons to play stretch four whenever they want to go small.
Why for Phx? They get out of Chandler's deal and get a nice vet PF to help lead Benders and Chriss's development. Z-bo could start for a year or so then let the youngsters take over. Carter would also be a good mentor for Warren and Booker.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

Just noticed Memphis isn't getting cap space even with Randolph, Carter, and Allen expiring at the end of the year. Talk about being locked into a low upside team.

Roughly $70 mil yearly between Conley, Gasol, and Parsons...That's rough.
