Its been reported that the draft success has been mostly credited with Jesse Buss and Jerry West Son, so stop with the theatrics

If Brewer could have gotten a positive asset, Houston probably would have done that and saved their 1st. But as a contender they didn't find much value for him either.

Beverley remains the starter next to Harden. Splash Gordon and Sweet Lou will probably come in around the same time; but Gordon is going to remain the "sixth man" if that label is important.
We are going to see a lot of guard-dominated play from Houston. I hope that no one out there is against an offense that has now somehow found a way to shoot even more 3's, Free Throws and drives to the basket.

So HOU is going to play either Gordon or Williams at PG? One downside to this trio for Hou is neither Williams, Gordon or Beard have enough size to play extended minutes at 3.

If LAL can pick up a second or two for Brewer, I call it a win. That's 2-3 picks for Lou.

the plan is to get as good as quickly as possible....I fully believe we could have been a borderline playoff team last year by adding young veterans....using or draft picks and cap space.....can I specifically tell you who? no.

LA tried to win with Deng/Mos signing, good or bad they tried. Prior to this season, Phi has fielded teams full of 2nd rd picks and dleague players

I guess one can make the argument that Deng/Mos was an attempt to win.
Or one could call it incredibly bad stewardship and a lack of foresight.
But sure, lets call it a winning move.
