What is Jabari Parker's value?
He's come up in some of the threads recently and I was wondering what his value is after 2 torn ACLs. He's looked like he was fully recovered from the first when he got back on the floor, but who knows about the second. Is he still the center piece of a trade for a star like PG13, or does his value go down with an extension coming up? Could he be had for a Robert Covington type player?

No.

I think he could, but it really does not make any sense. Paul George is not going to stay living in a city in Milwaukee. I believe Indiana would prefer to get some sort of "known" value, even with less upside, than a player like Parker.JoJoEmbiid wrote:Is he still the center piece of a trade for a star like PG13

Of course it is lower considering he is closer to an extension and can't stay healthy. I don't think Milwaukee moves him for a player like Covington unless they think they are a piece away from a title, which they aren't.

I think his value is good. If George indicated he would resign in Milwaukee then Jabari for George is the best package i could imagine anyone would offer.

Lowest it's ever been, which is why the Bucks will likely just hang on to him and hope for the best.
I think his value right now is a key piece in a trade for a legit star if that makes any sense, I can't imagine his value is consistent around the league in a 1 for 1 swap

Even in a best case scenario where he goes off and kills it next season, how do you trust his health enough to give him a long term deal. It's a huge gamble and for that reason he has little value.

I still like him even after the injuries. IMO he no longer has franchise player potential but he can be very good if the knees don't give out.
The Bucks have a lot of talent so hanging onto Parker isn't necessary. If I were them I'd listen to offers.

I agree with your 1st sentiment that his value is at an all time low.
But seriously can someone please make me understand this logic? Jabari Parker is in his contract year AND has TWO torn ACL's. Him being a "key piece in a trade for a legit star" seems a bit farfected and quite ridiculous TBH.
PM me if you can help a brotha finally get an AVI.

This. He could be really, really good, but right now? Who knows. He's not built for a contender and anyone who wants him would need damage mitigation. He needs to prove health and ability again before he can be traded.

He's a lottery ticket, he would be packaged with 2 other significant pieces in my mind. His value is low for a few reasons as you mentioned, but he still could be a very good player at the end of the day
