Long Overdue: Knicks and Bulls

Knicks send: Eddy Curry and Malik Rose

Bulls send: Thabo Sefolosha and Larry Hughes and Cedric Simmons

Its simple. 2010 for the Knicks and they can take on more salary in 2009 when it doesn't matter for them. This move allows them to go after 2 max deals depending on what they do with Lee and Nate Rob.

For Chicago, post presence. It has been long overdue. While getting a need, they get to dump Hughes too. So what's the problem?

Easily a yes from both sides.

can't be said enough: Curry isn't coming back to Chicago. Beyond the whole heart thing, the Bulls don't have the players to surround Eddy with (i.e Tyson Chandler) and they are fine without him. Plus, they also want to be there in 2010 cap wise and this doesn't help them.
