3 team trade thats nets us Nash and Marion w/o giving up CB!

Toronto: Incoming Players
Steve Nash
Shawn Marion
Dorelle Wright

Miami: Incoming Players
Jermaine O'neal
Matt Barnes
Louis Amundson

Phoenix: Incoming Players
Jose Calderon
Anthony Parker
Jamario Moon
Joel Anthony
2009 2nd round pick(miami)
2010 1st round pick(toronto)
2010 2nd round pick(miami)
2012 2nd round pick(toronto)

Toronto gets an upgrade at the wing, and cap relief for the next two seasons, while also adding a young talented SG/SF in Wright who could develop into a good player.

Miami becomes a big player in the 2010 free agent market while staying competitive, barnes is doing what marion does for $800 000.

Phoenix can now build around Amare, and they have more than enough peices to do so now, young talent, draft picks, huge cap relief in 2010 when shaq's contract expires.

T T T T TRADE BOARDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!
#Raptors are 7-1. In 6 of the past 10 seasons, a team that has started a season 7-1 has gone on to win an NBA championship.

So this summer Marion walks, and Nash is like 36?

And we have lost a key first round pick.

Why in the name of the Baby Jesus would we do that?

Wow. What else can I say: Wow!

Well i was just messing around because all the rumours about Marion having talks with the raps, and then theres the papers saying it would be a good time for Nash to come to Canada's only team, so i just tried to find a good, fair trade scenario.

We need help with our defense, and you bring in a quick fix PG who's declining and is ALREADY horrendous on the defensive end.

We need consistency and the ability to create on the wings; and you bring in a life long tweener who has shown no consistency this year and has no creativity on the offensive end.

But why?

Tor would have to take Marcus Banks for MIA to consider, which might work out, since he can D up.

Absolutely, and instead of Anthony and Wright. The Heat are not giving up more than they have to for a guy like JO, who's going to miss half a season and shoot sub 44% from the floor.

I disagree. Matt Barnes makes the Heat accept this deal. Phoenix passes, though.

IMO, Phoenix gets too sweet of a package with a younger PG and 4 picks. I also think that Miami should recieve a pick (and not give any, even if they are 2nd round picks) for taking JO's salary next year.

JO has a player option next season that he will in no way decline, this makes the raptors much better this season, and with JO going to the heat they will have a ton of caproom in the big 10 offseason.
