Re: Trade: Marion for Boozer
Probably not going to work. Jazz see Boozer as worth more, but the Heat won't bother giving up what it takes to make it happen.

Post the trade in your OP, and why both teams should do it please.

I like the basics for both teams, but Miami has to add sweetener.

Re: Trade: Marion for Boozer
IMO Boozer to Miami is not a good idea. We already have 2 6'8 PFs, who can't play SF & are too short to play C. Plus IMHO Boozer is a bit overrated and will command too much money (as will Marion, but while he's here he strengthens our defense (opposite of what Boozer would do) - which is our main focus, as shown by starting Marion-Haslem-Anthony instead of Marion-Beasley-Haslem).

Re: Trade: Marion for Boozer
Well, Marion has a bigger contract than Boozer. So in order to match salaries, Jazz could dump Harpring on the Heat. That could be alright. Still, I'm not sure if Utah has incentive to do it. Why? Utah won't resign Marion, so we'd need to get sweetner to give up Boozer's bird rights. Simple as that.
I think it's reasonable though.

Re: Trade: Marion for Boozer
Ummm . . . what?
The big issue is that Boozer is a lot better than Marion. If Utah is going to let a guy expire, why not just keep Boozer and see how far they can go in the playoffs?

Re: Trade: Marion for Boozer
Boozer is more valuable than Marion. Miami should add a sweetener. If Utah doesn't accept it, Miami rather trade either Blount or Banks pllus a sweetener for an expiring contract, and then sign Boozer with their cap space next year.
