raps/lakers

Post#1 » by garbagnani » Wed Dec 31, 2008 5:39 am

Raps trade Bosh + Moon for Lakers Bynum + Ariza

Raps do this because they could lose bosh to FA next year anyway.

Lakers do this to beat the Celtics this year. A big three of Kobe, Bosh, and Gasol would be though to beat!

What do you all think?

Check one of the various "trade checkers". This isn't even close to working as far as salary goes. I like the basic premise though. To make it work salary wise it ends up being too large to make sense though.

Fair in value, though I'm adamant in not trading Bosh unless he demands out.

The question is, would LA do it? Having 2 finesse bigs on the same team that does pretty much the same things seems redundant. Bynum provides a much more power and defensive presence that compliments Gasol's finesse.

I just can't see the Lakers doing this for many reasons:
1. Gasol and Bynum are playing well together
2. Our team has the best front line in the leauge
3. Gasol knows the triangle offence and Bosh doesn't
4. Bynum is our defensive present in the paint
5. If it ain't broken don't fix it
