The Toronto Suns....

Post#1 » by boogeydown » Sun Jan 25, 2009 4:32 pm

Just bored so I came up with this.

Toronto gets:
Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire

Phoenix gets:
Chris Bosh, Jose Calderon

Nash playing for Toronto would probably increase fan base and have more people watch the Raptors. Stoudemire would become the teams go to player. Losing Bosh hurts but from what I've been hearing in 2010 he's leaving anyway.

Trade 2.
Toronto gets:
Shawn Marion, Marcus Banks

Miami gets:
Jermanie O'Neal

Its rumored anyway.

Its essentially the old Phoenix team in Toronto.

Stoudemire
Bargnani
Marion
Kapano
Nash

. bosh is a better version of amare (this year anyway) + bosh plays defense
amare has never heard the term defense
calderon is a younger version of nash with a cheaper contract

since it makes the raps worse on D thats a big no

Why would Phx trade Amare and Nash, for Jose and Bosh... that would mean phx is getting a worse point guard in Jose and a worse power forward in Bosh

I think most people would take Bosh before Stoudemire. Stoudemire is also complaining alot recently.

Fine... maybe Bosh and Amare are equal at best, but Nash for Jose?
Doesn't make sense to me.

nash on down slope of career calderon on up slope. nash massive contract compared to jose. whats tough about that. PS dont compare amare to bosh until amare learns a little defense

No not equal. Bosh is better. Most suns fans would easily take bosh over amare.

I agree with the nash and jose part but salary and age have to be taken into consideration. I wouldn't do it from raps side but it is very attractive.

Nash I believe only has 1 more year left on his deal after this season.

I don't know if either side would do it. Bosh>Amare, Nash>Calderon...

Calderon has 4 or 5 more years left, Nash has 1, maybe 2.
That is why Suns should also give Barbosa or Barnes away.

Agreed.

Calderon is the Zach Randolph of PGs, monster empty stats.
