With Jameer possibly missing the rest of the season, the Magic make a move for veteran star PG to lead their team into the playoffs. This would be a similar deal to when the 76ers exchanged the hurt Theo Ratliff for Dikembe Mutombo to push their way to the finals:
Baron Davis
for
Jameer Nelson, Brian Cook and Keith Bogans
The Clippers season is pretty much cooked, and Baron hasn't exactly worked out too well for them. This gives the team a quality young PG to pair with Eric Gordon in their backcourt longterm. It also brings some cap relief.
The Magic get a very good PG, that could be a monster with the lineup Orlando has around him. Baron could help lead this team past Boston and Cleveland to the finals if he's properly motivated.

Re: Baron Davis to the Magic
I highly doubt the Magic would do this, because Jameer would be back next year and they would much rather have him than Baron at this point.

Re: Baron Davis to the Magic
It's not like Jameer will be impacted for the rest of his career by this one injury.
He fits our concept way better than Davis does (as in, he doesn't chuck).
