Love it for the Sixers. Makes the Hinrich/Miller swap even better. Don't know if Chicago does it, though.

I think it's best for Orlando, and worst for Chicago.

I think Chicago gets a fair shake. They get a bit of youth, and an '10 expiring bigman who is having quite an efficient year.

The Magic probably do this. Makes a ton of sense for us.

Chicago has to get more out of this. I can't see them being thrilled to pick up JJ who'd be behind Gordon, Hughes and Thabo. Like it for both the Magic and Sixers (even though I'm not big on Hinrich), but it's just too problematic for Chicago.

No from Chicago. We definately don't want JJ and Battie is basically a salary dump.

I doubt Orlando does this either. They love three point shooting around Howard and Dre can't do that. Basically, its the same reason the Sixers don't mind trading him.

Hughes was told to go home (they have him on the IR now), and Thabo is flapping in the breeze as trade bait. Jonathan Clay Redick would have a role on this team.

Should CHI be the ones getting the 1st-rounder, and PHI the 2nd??? I really don't believe so, but I'm putting it up for discussion.

Adding Cook & Hinrich puts the 76ers right on the edge of the luxury tax next year with only 11 players signed. Does anyone really think the 76ers are going to pay the tax to add those 2 players? Sixers decline. You need to figure out a way to take Green or Evans off the roster if Cook is coming back. Personally, I would pass on Hinrich as well. He makes too much money for what he can do.

Chicago is going to need a 1st round pick here otherwise all of Portland offers are better.

Actually, he wouldn't have any role on the Bulls except as cheerleader. I'd play Thabo in front of him every single time.

OK, I will edit the OP, to reflect CHI getting the 1st, and PHI the 2nd. Would that appeal to everyone?

Cliff Levingston doesn't think Paxson would pull the trigger, but Cliff Levingston would.
