AMARE and SHAQ

Post#1 » by warren weel im » Sat Feb 7, 2009 2:45 pm

Chad Ford's factual citing of the "requirements" from Phoenix's end is pretty simple and quite obvious - Suns want to shed salary and get young talent. Upon examining some possibilities, I have seen quite a scenario that would be interesting - and definitely possible.

I think the proposal will speak for itself and will warrant discussion - atleast from the end that this "possibility" is actually doable - and with motivations included.

DETROIT SENDS:

Allen Iverson
Rasheed Wallace
Amir Johnson
2 1st round picks (2009 and 2011)
(perhaps Afflalo as throw in)

PHOENIX SENDS:

Amare Stoudemire
Shaquille O'neal

Realistic, plain, simple and doable. I think the only question is - will Dumars do it?

There's always New York too. But we all know that already.

No, I think the question is: Why would Phoenix do it?

If Amare's problem is Shaq 0.o why would Joe D bring that problem to Detroit?

Yeah, it makes no sense to trade them to the same team.
