Brilliant: Bulls/Heat/Knicks/Suns

Post#1 » by Ray Allen Iverson » Tue Feb 10, 2009 1:07 pm

Successful Trade Scenario. Trade ID #4991993

The Chicago Bulls trade:

Kirk Hinrich
Larry Hughes
Tyrus Thomas
Thabo Sefolosha
Expiring: Drew Gooden
Expiring: Cedric Simmons

The Chicago Bulls receive:

Marcus Banks
Michael Beasley
Quentin Richardson
Expiring: Stephon Marbury (bought out)

Why this might work out for the Chicago Bulls: Instead of acquiring the expensive Stoudemire, they settle on the younger and cheaper Beasley. They take advantage of Kerr's preferenence of Thomas, so that they upgrade on talent. Moreover, they reduce Hughes' massive salary to the less expensive one of Richardson.

1) Derrick Rose - Lindsey Hunter
2) Ben Gordon - Marcus Banks
3) Luol Deng - Quentin Richardson
4) Michael Beasley - Andres Nocioni
5) Joakim Noah - Aaron Gray

IL: Michael Ruffin

The Miami Heat trade:

Marcus Banks
Mario Chalmers
Michael Beasley
Expiring: Shawn Marion

The Miami Heat receive:

Kirk Hinrich
Amar'e Stoudemire
Expiring: Cedric Simmons

Why this might work for the Miami Heat:They make an instant push for the title by acquiring both Hinrich and Stoudemire. Moreover, they get rid of Banks' 2010 / 2011 salary, fascilitating a STAT's contract extension.

1) Kirk Hinrich - Chris Quinn
2) Dwyane Wade - Daequan Cook
3) James Jones - Dorell Wright
4) Udonis Haslem - Mark Blount
5) Amare Stoudemire - Joel Anthony

IL: Yakhouba Diawara, Jamaal Magloire

The New York Knicks receive:

Larry Hughes
Expiring: Shawn Marion

The New York Knicks trade:

Quentin Richardson
Expiring: Stephon Marbury

Why this might work for the New York Knicks: They improve their starting lineup tremendously. Both Hughes and Marion should (re-)blossom in D'Antoni's offensive schemes.

1) Chris Duhon - Nate Robinson - xxx
2) Larry Hughes - Anthony Roberson - xxx
3) Wilson Chandler - Danilo Gallinari - Tim Thomas
4) Shawn Marion - Al Harrington - xxx
5) David Lee - Jared Jeffries - Jerome James

IL: Tim Thomas, Eddy Curry, Jerome James

The Phoenix Suns receive:

Tyrus Thomas
Mario Chalmers
Thabo Sefolosha
Expiring: Drew Gooden

The Phoenix Suns trade:

Amar'e Stoudemire

Why this might work for the Phoenix Suns: They get under the cap, acquire three young prospects for the future and call it a day.

1) Steve Nash - Mario Chalmers - Goran Dragic
2) Jason Richardson - Leandro Barbosa - Thabo Sefolosha
3) Grant Hill - Matt Barnes - Jared Dudley
4) Tyrus Thomas - Drew Gooden - Louis Amundson
5) Shaquille O'Neal - Robin Lopez - xxx

IL: Alando Tucker

Thanks for the feedback BBF! That's unfortunate, though - I really thought I've found a balanced solution.

I understand that, and it's a good try, but personally at this point, I'm just against Amare Stoudamire in a Heat uniform, period. I don't want his attitude here, and I'm not convinced that he's so much better than Beasley that we should give up Marion and Chalmers just to get him. Yes, I know, we're getting Kirk too, but still...

Just don't really want Amare here...

This doe's not benfits NY,just cut them out & do a small deal.
Marcus Banks & Mark Blount for Larry Hughes
The Bulls move Hughes deal for less expensive one's
The Heat get out of the Banks 3rd yr
There you go, every one is happy :-? I would be.

If Miami weren't giving up Chalmers it would be a yes. I prefer Chalmers at 700k to Hinrich at more than 10 times the price.

Bulls make out too good.

They shave off roughly 10 mil in 2010 salary, add beasley, and upgrade from Hughes to Qrich at the expense of Hinrich/Thabo?

Miami gets HOSED.

Chalmers/Beasley/Marion expiring>Hinrich/Amare
'
Why would NYK do it? Marion and Starbury are both expirings that won't be with their current teams next season and Qrich is a better player and is on a better contract than Hughes......

PHX gets pretty dang good return for Amare IMO

attitude???
how would you react when you're team is underacheiving and you're getting all the blame??
I think Amare was all the right in the world to act this way.
And you dont know if hes a better player than Beasley? Guys a four time all star compared to a rook, thats kinda whack.
However if you mean by his defense then I agree, but attitude??
