There has to be more involved...otherwise it makes no sense. Wilcox is the better player and costs less money...what do the Thunder possibly benefit in a straight-up swap?

So is OKC really THAT scared of Wilcox coming back and saying, "You tried to trade ME?!?"

Confirmed. Marc Stein now reporting that cash is also going to the Thunder. Quite a shift from Tyson Chandler to Malik Rose :D

Sweet deal for NY. They saved about $1.5 mill in salary and lux tax, so at most they paid $1.5 mill to turn Rose into Wilcox. Not bad.

Geez...I guess OKC is desperate for $$$. Seriously, this is the best that they could get for Wilcox?

I think its more that OKC is getting free money and its not like they cared about having Wilcox's bird rights. No one is going to give up a ton of value for him- send him to whoever gives you the most cash.
