I don't think Chicago will have the money to match the Pistons or OKC, so this would get some value out of a leaving BG
Cleveland Trades:Hickson, Ben Wallace
Cleveland Receives:Redd
Milwaukee Trades:Ridnour, Redd
Milwaukee Receives:BG(5 years 53 million), Wallace, #26
Chicago Trades: BG, #26
Chicago Receives:Hickson, Ridnour
Cleveland gets its shooting guard next to James.
Milwaukee gets a shooter to fill Redd's position & a retiring/expiring Wallace
Chicago gets another project forward & backup which makes Kirk even more expendable. Chicago just gets rid of the 26 for $ reasons
Redd to Cleveland & Bulls get value for BG

Absolutely not for Cleveland.
We don't want Michael Redd, and if we did, we wouldn't offer anything more than an expiring.

Wasn't Cleveland trying to get Redd earlier this year? & how much did Hickson actually play this year? Basically Cleveland is giving up expirings. James is gonna want a championship next year. This is possibly the best way to accomplish that goal

No, we weren't trying to get Redd. We went after Richard Jefferson.
Our biggest problem is an aging front-court. We're not going to trade away a young PF prospect with potential to re-unite a failure of a back-court while weakening our perimeter defense.

I don't see why Chicago does this either. Ridnour sucks.

What part of cleveland's perimter is going anywhere? And this past offseason cleveland was rumored to have interest in Redd.

Agreed about ridnour but he is a cheaper 1 year rental to replace Hinrich who seems to be on his way out as he is overpaid for a backup + chicago gets a young 4 to compete with Tyrus for playing time(possibly keeps Tyrus on his toes)
Chicago could roll with...although this is would mean Hinrich is gone for sure.
Noah/Miller
Tyrus/Hickson/Noah
Deng/Salmons/Tim Thomas
Salmons/Hinrich/#16
Rose/Hinrich/Ridnour
Also the trade assumes that BG would be offered more than the Bulls are willing to spend to keep him. So essentially the trade is #26 for Hickson/Ridnour on Chicago's part
