Latest D.Lee trade Rumours inside source

My inside souces tell me the knicks have 3 deals on the table involving David Lee and they are deciding which deal is the best to make:

Deal 1 D.Lee and 8th and a combination of one or tow of the following e.curry, Q.richardson, j.jefferies to Memphis for 2nd pick (Rick Rubio), Darko Millicec, Hakeem Warwick, throw ins

Deal 2 D.Lee, 8th pick, J.Jefferies to Suns for Amre Stoudemire and throw ins

Deal 3. Was not mentioned as it was just developing but it involved the warriors and oklahomas pick obviously for Rubio

More details as they emerge but my source says one of the three will definately go down at draft time

My source told me he is going to Portland for Martel Webster. WTF?

You want to explain how they can sign and trade him before the draft? Considering teams can't talk to their free agents until the draft is over.

my source said 'at draft time' not draft day! Often deals get made at draft time and they dont officially go thru until a certain playing can sign, ie J.Oneil when he went to raptors. The deal was reported on draft day but wasnt offical until weeks later

Of course not. Attach Jeffries or Curry to a package and you suck the life out of it.

Not only do you have no chance at getting a top 10 pick for Lee, you have no chance of dumping Curry of Jeffries with him.

an expiring, a middle of the pack prospect, and a mid-late first rounder is about the max NY will get back.

My source (nba.com) tells me that Lee is a free agent and can't talk about signing a contract until July...

Also, he might want to talk to some teams and actually choose where he goes and find out the most money he can get... teams like Detroit might have interest and could just sign him outright without giving up anything for him.
