The Sacramento Kings ARE NOT trading down from #4 with the sole or even primary purpose to move Beno Udrih.
Of all the preposterous assumptions of humanity over humanity, nothing exceeds most of the criticisms made on the habits of the poor by the well-housed, well-warmed, and well-fed.

^ Bac2Basics - The point has already been made that the Kings would only make the move if they were convinced that they could get their man at #7. Thus they would also have the immediate savings of the difference in salaries of a #4 and #7, for savings over the next seasons of:

2009-2010 2010-2011 2011-2012 2012-2013
$750 k $800 k $860 k $1 mil

For a total savings of over $3.5mil over 4 years. This is in addition to the savings of losing a bad contract (~$27 mil owed over 4 years) + receiving $3 mil in cash. You may not think that SAC would even think about it, but you're not the one spending $70 mil/year on a Lottery team. That is huge savings.

I would suggest, that if the Kings knew that their man was their at #7, they would do this without the future pick from TOR.
