Balancing the Wiz: WAS-CLE

Post#1 » by Derekman » Wed Jun 24, 2009 1:48 am

Cleavland desperately needs talent. Someone else on the team that can put the ball in the bucket. Washington, on the other hand, has to much talent and needs players who will hustle and can play well without the ball in their hands.

Ben Wallace + AV for Antwan Jamison+ future second rounder

For the Cavs, it's alot easier to find a big that will hustle and play D ( Reggie evans maybe?) than to find someone who can take the pressure off Lebron offensively.

For the Wiz, this move, imo, will save them money without making them worse. If Arenas can come back as good as he was and Haywood can stay healthy, they have a good balanced team that can be good defensively and offensively.

CAVS

Mo
West
Lebron
Antwan
Ilgauskas

WIZ

Gilbert
Miller ? ( or are they starting Foye?)
Caron
AV/ Blatch
Haywood/Mcgee

No from Cleveland.

Jamison/Mike James for Ben Wallace/2nd rounder is something the Cavs would consider, but not Varejao.

Why would the Wiz want a washed up bum on his last legs, and a flopper with no offensive game whatsoever?

No.

The second rounder doesn't make Jamison's contract easier to swallow.

I guess the OP never used the Trade checker on this one either...even Wallace for Jamison wouldn't work.

No i didn't use the trade checker. This is just the basic idea, fillers can be added.

He's calling Wallace a washed up bum, not Jamison.
