we get a number one pick for a guy who would probably walk....

keeping in mind the trades that cleveland and orlando just made, we are miles away from contendership
Would la even contemplate giving us their nu,ner one pick for bosh? I am surprised or wondering if bc is even pondering this. it would be a great move to make.

Why not?

do you think the Clips want to trade for a PF to their team when they have been one of the worst franchises in the past decade, and will leave them after one season?

we get a number one pick for a guy who would probably walk.... they're thinking the exact same thing but opposite

I think I would since Griffin is a top talent. Also we would have alot of $ after that trade to go after someone else.

I've been suggesting such a move for over a month now...

Bosh to the Clippers for Randolph and the 1st pick

You let Griffin come off the bench behind Randolph and Bargnani as a rookie...and then attempt to trade Randolph's expiring deal next summer for additional young talent

Bosh would probably re-sign with the Clippers too...giving them a playoff worthy lineup of...

Davis
Gordon
Thorton
Bosh
Kaman

They could then deal Camby's expiring contract for an upgrade at SF (Camby to the Hawks for Josh Smith?)

Bosh and his big salary are not worth the #1 pick. Yes.

easily we get a player who will probably reach bosh's level soon without having to pay the max contract and if we don't like him we use him as trade bait

No way clips do this without sign and trade but #1 + Gordon would be a wet dream for me, take a PG with the 9th like maybe Flynn and you will have a dominant team in a few years.

Sorry guys - I appreciate your optimism but we are not going to trade Griffin for Bosh under any circumstances. It just won't work. I think Bosh is great but Griffin is faster, stronger, jumps higher and works way harder. My guess is that his upside is even better than Bosh while his salary is much smaller than the max salary Bosh will ask for next year. Outside of that its seems like a pretty fair trade.
