Portland Cleans Up

Post#1 » by JordanL » Wed Jul 1, 2009 6:57 pm

Assuming Portland signs Hedo, (I hope not), we need to clean up.

Blake
Outlaw
Webster

And one of

Rudy
Batum

Needs to get us a PG that we can use for years and years and years.

Would Blake + Outlaw + Webster + Rudy get us Harris?

What's your offer?

Obviously Portland isn't trying to firesale... we don't want to give up Rudy or Batum without getting something nice back.

I don't think a Harris for Rudy would be in the cards now that C. Lee is on NJ.

Thank you. Bayless/Rudy/Batum used to be an appealing nucleus in a Devin trade, but not now that we have a quality young wing rotation (Lee, Williams and Roberts).

Wow...looks like Devin's getting a bit overvalued now.

And Kirk is still an option, but now with Gordon definitely in limbo, my guess is Chicago waits..

since any trade with Rudy means you'd want only an elite PG, maybe you should start w/ the 5 or 6 PGs you'd accept in return

That is one possibility, how about a RONDO trade.

Rudy/Blake/Bayless/Outlaw any of those 3 for Rondo?

I don't think Blake + Outlaw + Webster + Rudy is ridiculous for Harris.

I think it's an awful deal for New Jersey.

I believe we gathered that from your dramatic response.

i dont think its ridiculous value, but i think its slightly favoring the harris side...even with that said, we don't need 3 wings now that we have lee and williams, as everyone else stated already...that would leave us with a very thin PG rotation and harris is still our best player

Done

Rondo / Blake
Roy / Webster
Hedo / Batum
Aldridge / Outlaw
Oden / Przybilla

Just need to trade Outlaw for a better PF and that roster is set
