Uh? I kind of doubt that OKC has changed their stance on Chandler's physical. Otherwise they would have kept him last year when they traded garbage for him. (in what was a huge win for OKC until the story about Chandler's injury came out).

If the Hornets are trying to cut some salary to limit their luxury tax payout, I think a simpler deal could be done for expiring contracts with the Hornets throwing in a protected pick

New Orleans saves about $3.5 million (7 million overall with luxury tax savings). As a result, it costs them a 1st round pick. Oklahoma just jeopardize long term cap and gets another 1st round pick to potential use as a trading chip down the line.
