Atlanta/Toronto - Atlanta decide to go all out!

Post#1 » by Vindicater » Wed Dec 2, 2009 1:01 am

Atlanta trade:

Jamal Crawford

Toronto Trade:

Hedo Turkaglo
Sonny Weems

Conclusions:

Atlanta: Crawford has been great for them. But Turk is just plain better then him. If Turk can accept a6th man role he could become a deadly force off the bench just like Odom in LA. Weems is another shooting guard to sit at the end of the bench.

Toronto: THey admit that Turk is a bad fit and try to escape his contract. Crawford has shown real signs of maturity in his game this year in Atlanta and is a fierce competeitor who could fire Toronto up plsu his contract is much shorter then Turks.

Thoughts?
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

Nah, I don't really hate Turkoglu and his contract as much as other Raps fans. Our problems are at PG and C.

If Atlanta would somehow trade Horford for Bosh I'd jizz in my pants, but they won't.

I personally like Crawford better since he can possibly play the point if needed. I'm not sure if Teague is ready to be the full time backup.

I think length is also a concern. Since Josh, Marvin, and Bibby all have decent sized contract, with Horford going to get one soon, a shorter deal that expires is more important.

There is no way I see Atlanta trading Crawford right now.
