You can trade injured players if the other team waives the physical. Basically taking him in as an expiring. You can take Blake instead of Outlaw if you want, they are both expiring for the same amount, but Blake isn't injured.

In that case, I'm sticking with the original deal. We don't need Blake, we have 3 PG's.

There is just no way that Bass would leave Orlando before the play-offs. They are very happy with hem and I don't think their will be any trade that makes both Orlando and the other better by the trade.

ORL Gets: Miller

ORL gets a PG to run with them both with and without Jameer healthy.

Miller / Williams / Nelson*

Carter / Barnes

POR Gets: Bass, Johnson

Portland gets beef up front and a veteran PG.

Blake / Johnson / Bayless

This would be a sweetheart deal for Portland. It gets them big bodies, it gets them a legitimate scoring threat, and the costs are quite manageable.

I can't imagine this is possible.

Why would the Hornets trade West?

Frankly, I'm not a fan of his. I think he's overrated, but then Chris Paul, like Steve Nash, tend to make players around them better. West is shooting a hair under 45% this season. Aldridge is only shooting 47%. We can't have both our bigs shooting under 50% for the season! Now, if you wanna send Chris Paul WITH David West, then we can start talkin... and fast! hahahaha.
