i'm pretty sure that cannot get Amare at all, unless the fillers include either Curry or Biedrens, which wont happen

Antawn Jamison and Dre Miller are two players that could be had and help them out a lot. Probably wouldn't have to give up much either.

I'm sure if the Warriors really were having a fire sale, they would be looking for youth and or picks not vets right?

Randolph, Morrow, Claxton, Bell, top 3 protected pick
for
Amare
he might actually agree to resign if he doesnt think GS is giving up too many pieces (and you guys are willing to give him big money)

Soon to be FA rental superstars and players the age of Jamison and Miller just aren't what GSW is looking to acquire in any trade.

He's not going to resign. He will end up signing with a big market team like the Knicks or Bulls. IMO it would be a huge waste of time and resources to rent him for part of the season.

You are talking about renting Amare for a whole 11 weeks. Warriors GM Larry Riley is already on record as saying Golden State will not trade any assets for an expiring player like Amare.

Re: another try: Golden State Warriors firesale!!
Forget Amare. He said no. Unsigned he is worth NOTHING.
Why the hell would a team BUILDING even consider trading Randolph and Morrow? It's DUMB.
for the 100th time GSW can NOT TRADE THE 2010 pick PROTECTED...and considering where GSW is,how many players are injured...We will consider that pick as Wall,Turner or another top 5 of our choosing. We will have a LOT of ping pong balls.
Basically.....knock yourself out......but aside from Vlad Rad,who nobody will much want, there isn't much of anyone GSW wants to trade now. If you want to dazzle us by overpaying.....go for it.
GSW does not want your aged scrubs or overpaid ex stars. We basically want REALLY good young and low $ guys. We could use a potent rebounder. We don't give a crap about expirings,we have our expirings. We can't accept a bunch of fillers or guys who are injured. Anyone paid over $10 mill better be producing and not redundant.
If that's not enough...there is the NELLIE factor. We have Nellie at least for this season and maybe next. We could use a "Poor man's Millsap" a rebounder/banger, but I doubt Nellie would go for it.
We DO want D and rebounding......MORE...not Less...so the inevitable offer of your overpaid SG for Biedrins and Randolph is wasting our time. Nellie considers Monta his guy,his best player. He loves Curry. He thinks Randolph has star potential and Wright is about as good. Nellie said Morrow is the best pure shooter he's ever coached. EVER. Nellie likes shooters.

Right.
OBVIOUSLY GSW's window of opportunity has NOTHING to do with EXPENSIVE guys who are 33 yr old.

Why rebuild rem when you can help another team win a ring by giving up some of our best young players for their garbage? At least that way we could say we participated in their Championship journey. Do you think they'd give our owner a piece of their championship money?

^you just made it seem like there is nothing wrong with the Warriors franchise. your own GM said he was willing to trade players that he necessarily doesn't want to (ie: Randolph and Morrow, etc)
why cant there be protection on the pick? (i really have no idea)

Just because GSW could be willing to trade Randolph, Morrow or other young players doesn't mean they're going to accept any of the offers presented so far.
The Warriors main problem is their inability to stay healthy.

Warriors fans > Non-Warriors fans
Honestly...A bunch of assets for an unsigned Amare Stoudemire helps an 11 win team out how?
Thats beyond stupid.

I agree! Not with the "Warriors fans > Non-Warriors fans", but with the Amare part. Amare to GS is stupid and would never fly.

No names mentioned by him. As for the answer to your question, why should there be?
