This thread is a joke, some of you GSW fans are the biggest homers on the planet.

The Clippers would have to be (Please Use More Appropriate Word) to give up a good young project C and another younger version of Maggette for crappy MEgette whose had a streak of good games, and yall think he's a star.

LOL at the PER arguments as backup. Maggette is a LOSER, he's always been on losing teams, and he can't play a lick of defense. The Warriors are a horrible team, with players putting up empty stats.

Unbelievable how some Warrior fans are rejecting this deal.

It doesn't really matter though, because if the Jackson trade, or Belinelli trade or any other **** trade GSW management made has taught us, it's that their management are the exact opposite of their fans.

They'll sell Maggette for expirings, heck they'd even take back a fairly bad contract back as well.

Hilarious, this thread is just comical.

Well, you are correct here. The Warriors management IS a joke. That much everyone can agree on. So saying that we, the fans, are complete opposite of our management means that we actually have brains and don't want to do deals that are detrimental to the team. This deal is not the right thing to do for BOTH teams. If you want to use your standard Realgm "Maggette is a loser" take to justify it, then go for it. NOONE has been saying Maggette IS a star, we are saying that he HAS been playing like one for us amongst a bunch of D leaguers, hence the losses. The difference between us now and us without Maggettes current level of play would probably = the Nets. The Clippers would never give up this package for the return services of Maggs anyway, so this trade is DOA, and we dont expect to get back anything worth giving up his current level of play as well, so we better off keeping him in my opinion.

Also, if Maggette sucks so bad and is a complete effing loser, why are other teams posters offering trades to get him? Especially offering up solid young prospects as well? Seems to me some are doing their research and actually watching games and others are just sticking to their old stale outdated stupid extreme takes and settling for looking like the fool instead. Come back when you grow up and can actually keep up with the current state of the NBA.

Nice try dude....but this same old BS sales pitch is going nowhere. If Maggette is all that SUCKY just decline the deal...quit the gimme charade. He's bogus? Fine, think what you like. We are pleasantly surprised. If you WANT him..you PAY. If you do NOT want him..walk away. Enough of the kid stuff.
We DO watch all the games. I've watched the NBA for 50 years,so I know what I see.

The
Jackson/Crawford deals were based on the agenda of the moment. None of that applied
HERE AND NOW. Those deals do NOT mean GSW is on a mission to do the WORST deals possible until the arena is totally empty and none of us still care. Were BAD trades totally acceptable...we could have had the whole roster turned over twice this season. Bad trades are EASY to get. What's with this notion we MUST give in to whatever bad idea? Bad ideas we always can get. Must say...this is 100% better than the recent "Laker Trade"..... that was pitiful.

Go argue with the Warriors FO then. Here however, we respond with the stuff they SHOULD be saying and doing. 1 appearance to the postseason in the last 15 or so seasons says the things they do suck, and we tend to preach the opposite approach to what they do. Therefore we make sense as they don't. Understand now?

This trade is so offensive on so many levels I think it should be introduced into the "Trade Theory Hall of Shame". Nice job dude.

+1

WE do not DUMB DOWN to out fubar the current or past management. The contented cows have no reason to get on Real GM and THINK about this stuff. Are the Clippers bound to f**k up to the standards that franchise has had over the years? Were that the case we could create the ultimate in totally awful trades. Imagine a trade based opn both GSW and LAC trying to match their worst trades ever.
