Lots of rumors are running around about who's going where, here's what I think should be happening next year.
Toronto sends:
Demar DeRozan (to Sacramento)
Reggie Evans (to Washington)
Patrick O'Bryant (to Sacramento)
Sacramento sends:
Kevin Martin (to Toronto)
Andres Nocioni (to Washington)
Donte Green (to Washington)
Washington sends:
Antawn Jamison (to Sacramento)
Why would Sacramento do this?
They get the interior presence they need to complement Tyreke's work on the outside, also Antawn is exactly the type of veteran presence the Kings will need as they rebuild the team up for the future.
Tyreke Evans - D. DeRozan - Omri Casspi - A. Jamison - J. Thompson
Why would Washington do this?
Although Jamison is one of the most professional players in the NBA and despite the fact that he still puts up big numbers. With all the fiasco that has occured there in and with the fact that more than half or the Wizards roster is there on expiring contracts, it is the perfect opportunity to start rebuilding. They will like keep the core of Crittenton, Foye, Butler & Haywood and build around those guys. Reggis Evans and Andres Nocioni allow them to become a much more defensive-minded unit. Those two will likely shape the team's identity.
Randy Foye - Mike Miller - Caron Butler - A. Nocioni - B. Haywood
Why would Toronto do this?
Toronto does it because they finally get a guy who can take the pressure off of Bosh's shoulder's. After this move, they would be sure that Bosh is a lock and it would free them to move either one of Turkoglu or Bargnani without fear of the downturn such a move could have on their offense.
J. Calderon - K. Martin - H. Turkoglu - Chris Bosh - A. Bargnani

This is terrible for Washington. We can get expirings for Jamison now, so why would we trade for a useless player like Evans and a overpaid-for-too-long Nocioni?

Easy no for Sac. They don't need DD at all, he's not the answer to finding a player to pair with Evans. POB sucks and is negative value. Jamison, beyond the obvious age issue, doesn't give the Kings what they need up front which is tough/rough/strong interior defense.

Good heavens no from Washington. Yet another bad AJ trade

Jamison should be traded to a contender, not to a rebuilding Kings team.

This would be correct. If Jamison gets traded, it makes much more sense to trade him to a team that's likely for a playoff run, rather than a rebuilding squad.
Of all the preposterous assumptions of humanity over humanity, nothing exceeds most of the criticisms made on the habits of the poor by the well-housed, well-warmed, and well-fed.
