BOSH - TMAC - HARRIS MEGA DEAL

This hypo deserves it's own thread. This could probably only happen the week of or hours before the deadline. But, this would give Houston the cap space it needs and still get rid of TMAC (he's causing problems there), and gives Toronto talent, money in expirings, and a pick back (Dallas #1 this year - around #24 overall).

The Nets would get Bosh and TMac. If TMac impresses we can sign him and if he doesn't we let him walk and get the $24 mill or so in cap space.

Well, the link doesn't work, so I don't know how to comment on it; but I get the feeling that Houston is going to be taking back a lot of players here - probably more than they can.

Houston isn't going to assist another team in getting Bosh. I imagine this trade would be (Please Use More Appropriate Word) therefore it wasn't posted.

Rumor has it they are shopping Calderon right now. Harris would start and Jack would back him up. That's a nice duo of PGs and they would build around Harris, Bargnani, Turkoglu, and probably use the money the nets give them to sign like a Rudy Gay/Boozer.

It truly is 2 separate trades (no one from TOR is going to HOU and no one from HOU is going to TOR) so Houston isn't assisting NJ in getting Bosh. Doesn't change the fact that it is a pretty poor trade for the Rockets.

why does Toronto do this? Bosh has not made up his mind yet to whoever thinks it's better off for Raptors to get somethin for him than nothing. Plus according to Colangelo, they agreed if he were to leave, it'd be in a S&T...There's a big chance he re-signs if Raptors make is past the first round, which isn't totally unlikely, and make some impact in the playoffs... another thing, why the hell would Bosh want to go to Nets right now? They're out of playoffs race and he'd waste his best season so far..Rockets have regressed and are 10th in a tough western conference division, while Raptors are 5th, about 4 games away from 4th, and have had one of the best records in the NBA since December

This couldnt possibly make less sense. Houston trades Tmac for guys who would be their 9th 10th, 11th, and 12th men. Toronto gets their THIRD PG with a longterm contract. Why would Bosh stay in NJ to watch Keyon Dooling running the point?

I'm a Knicks fan but I can see this deal going through. I am my own person by the way. I don't see this deal going through unless Bosh tells the Raptors he wants out and will definitely leave.

But, Harris is definitely better than anyone on the Raptors not named Bosh by far. It's not even close. Bargnani is a rung below him still when he's healthy.

There is probably a 10% chance the Nets get Bosh before Free Agency. I see them grabbing either Bosh or Amare. Chances are they either grab Amare via trade or Bosh via Free Agency (if he leaves Toronto - which is probably 75/25 now).

Eaxactly Harris is a good to great PG but we don't need another one and no PF/C and no Battie isn't that he's pretty much done in 2 years. Terrible return for Toronto
