The Twitter verse had zero indication of any movement happening in this upcoming deadline, just your general rumor mill. The big trades all went down already, OG, Pascal, Terry, nothing much out there to go get. Teams are asking for some absurd compensation, its just a bunch of nothing burgers right now. Maybe tomorrow things get interesting but I wouldn't hold your breath on Miami doing anything else.

Good rebounding and playmaking despite not having full reigns of the handling duties at guard with Herro playing a role he shouldn’t be playing. Excited to see the final product of his game when he finds his scoring rhythm again

These stats compete for worst player in the league. Pat literally buried us with this tax saving trade

Something that I just started looking at in the trade machine is trying to get Grant Williams and Dante Exum from Dallas. They only make 15M combined, are both young (25 and 28) and play roles and positions of need. That could give us a PJ Tucker type PF who can defend and shoot 3s with some toughness even if it's fake in Grant's case lol. And Exum can play both guard spots and is a strong defender at 6'5 who's shooting the 3 well.

Something Like

Martin
Bryant
Jovic

works but I know it's not enough for them to want to take that. Maybe a 3 team trade? That way maybe the money could work to send them Herro somehow? Just another option I think could be a good fit if we could somehow swing it. I know, I know, Dallas but not many options out there where we could try to get a PF and PG like that for this season.

I like where your heads at, but we will need a lot more than Grant Williams

Grant and Exum would be nice, unfortunately there’s not really a deal there that makes sense

Vucevic would be a good move if all it took was Duncan and filler. Bam could still guard the best big on the other team, but atleast there would be a legit big next to him. Move Highsmith, Richardson, or Martin to starting lineup and Herro to 6th man. It would give the Heat much needed size and make them better.

Unfortunately I see no upside for the Bulls other than dumping a year of salary. And for what Vecevic makes per year he's got an incredible fair deal for a team's cap situation.

They could be intrigued by Jovic as an attachment.

I honestly love the thought of getting a big like Vucevic who has left size and rebounding ability but can also shoot pass and score well too. It would force Bam on to Giannis, Randle, Mobley etc. in playoff settings. I would still prefer Bam on Embiid and likely KP though but the option to move him full time to Tatum could also help a lot.

Offensively Bam will have smaller players on him so there should be constant mismatches, if they decide to put their center on him still than Vucevic has a mismatch and can take advantage of it.

I think Vucevic is a long time Bucks killers too

Vucevic is 33 years old and well beyond any current Bulls timeline. Robinson and Jovic could work.

I really wanted Vucevic last year, I'd still jump on that if it's Robinson and Jovic for sure.

Would be even better if you swap Herro for Robinson and have them include Caruso and his 1st team all nba defense to put next to Rozier and Robinson
