It depends, I think if wade and Beasley play, we win. If they are out, then yes I fully expect a loss.

Stop saying we are going to lose guys, what is Indiana have that is such a big deal a center??? ohhh so scary. Challenging sure but we've faced stiffer competition before and have done fine.

George is much scarier now too, he can legit drop 30 any night. He's obviously not lbj, noone is, but other than KD and LBJ he's the best swing in the game. 25 ppg on 60% ts is radical improvement over last season. The Heat shouldn't be scared of course but the two teams are pretty evenly matched imo.

We took care of KD, Westbrook, Harden and Ibaka before. Maybe Harden had a bad series but hey we took them. If We can control all of them then Paul George by either great team defense or LeBron is possible. Otherwise that team really isn't that bad. Yeah tough, and could make some really tough games. Push comes to shove we can take them I am confident.

All I know is this - If Battier keeps missing his open shots Spo better not over-play him. West kills Battier, we need to use more Beasley, Birdman and even Joel tonight.

I expect the Pacers to come out hungry and emotional while we come out our usual nonchalant selves. After taking a few haymakers early they'll realize they're in a fight and pick up the intensity but fall short, Pacers by 12. Now before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, its just a regular season game and its just my prediction. I could end up being 100% wrong and that would be fine with me, I'd love to be surprised but I dont see it. Atleast not tonight

This game means more to Indy right now than it does to us. If they lose to us, then they are really going to have to look in the mirror as they've lost to Chicago, Portland, and OKC as well. It's a bit different to lose to all the tough teams you play, rather than having an off night vs the weaker ones.

A chance to demoralize them with a crushing defeat would seem to me to be a bigger reason to want to go out there and get a win. But after looking at some pre-game comments from LeBron and Bosh I already know what we are in for tonight.

Oh and I'm expecting a loss. If we win, great. If we don't, I don't care. It isn't the playoffs. We're not going to beat every good team every single game in the regular season. Hope wade and beasley play tonight.

What would be really fun for me is if Beasley just blew up against them. With all the talk Indy had about their "additions" this offseason, it would be fun for our insignificant, trouble-making, drug dealing, IQ of less than 60 addition won the game for us:)

"It's not a statement game," Heat forward LeBron James said. I don't really get too much involved in regular-season matchups, especially early, in December."

"We understand they're going to be worked up and probably marked that on their calendar as soon as the schedules came out," Bosh said. "Can't worry about that. We just come out and play ball, we do our thing."

These guys just dont get up for regular season games..I guess its like ya'll said only thing that matters is playoffs..Nothing wrong with what either of them said, its PC.

Yep. When the games really matter, this team plays its hardest. That level is hard for other teams to match. That's why we'll get blindsided and throttled by teams like the Bulls. They play hard every game, and are always amped to play us. We just don't meet their energy level in the regular season.

That brings back memories of the 2011 team that got beaten every game in the regular season by the Bulls. Then the playoffs come and we take them out in five games. Specifically in that last game, when we were down double digits late, and we clamped down on them and pulled out the win to end the series. You could see the look in the Bulls' faces. They had that look of surprise and shock in their faces. That's what believing too much in regular season games will do to you.

Actually, one possession. If Lebron doesn't hit an easy buzzer beater in game 1.

IND 76 MIA 99...trying to do the math here, and it's getting awkward.

Yeah I'd say so.

That was game 1. So, that still doesn't make sense. Their asses were blown out in Game 7, how's that for one possession?
