Here is a interesting article on how the critics of Beasley are extremely overreacting.

Miami Herald Reporter Michael Wallace Blatantly Lies on Michael Beasley

Read this article... It was written by Michael Wallace of the Miami Herald... the dude actually goes out his way to LIE about the stats of Beasley. And no one called him out on it!!!

http://www.palmbeachpost.com/sports/hea ... 78940.html

A few things that were stated that kinda rubbed me the wrong way!!!

(example one) "As the No. 2 pick in 2008, Beasley entered the league with great expectations. But he has in no way matched the contributions of players such as No. 1 pick Derrick Rose, No. 3 O.J. Mayo, No. 4 Russell Westbrook (who enhanced his reputation during Oklahoma City's recent playoff appearance) and No. 10 Brook Lopez."

So the second leading scorer on a team that has made the playoff for two consecutive seasons after having the worst record in the NBA hasn't made any kind of impact??? Yeah, that's real logical. Never mind that the Heat has won more games than either of those players teams in both seasons. Beasley beat Lopez 2x this season without Wade being apart of the game. He also beat Mayo's Memphis club when he scored 30 in the game that Wade missed due to injury... in the game with Wade, the Heat were blew out by 30+. His Heat club is 5-2 against the Bulls... Beasley has scored 20+ against them on several occasions. He dropped 28 vs Westbrook and OKC... a game that Wade struggled to get 19.

(example two) "Ever since Michael has been drafted, it seems as though he's been the most maligned player in the NBA," Heat President Pat Riley said of Beasley, whose averages increased slightly this season to 14.3 points and 5.9 rebounds."

Last I checked Beasley averaged 14.8 points and 6.4 rebounds... he also failed to admit that Beasley improved his stats in Steals per game, Blocks per game, Assist per game, and a Lower Turn Over Ratio per game. Seems this dude needs to be fired as a reporter!!!

(example three) "Part of Beasley's progress was delayed last summer when he spent more than a month at a Houston-area rehabilitation center for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. The Heat has taken steps to help Beasley avoid a setback through the season and this summer."

Really... what he failed to account for was that last summer, unlike Mayo, Westbrook, Lopez and etc. Beasley never took the summer off. A few days after the season ended, the Heat went right back to work with a PLAYER DEVELOPMENT camp. Beasley, Wright, Haslem, Cook, Jones and Anthony all showed up for 6 weeks of 5 day practices. Beasley was putting in as much as 5 and 6 hour days. No other team did this with it's players, as most were to busy with summer camps.

(example four) "Beasley is, figuratively speaking, not in Durant's league at this point. Beasley is a lot closer to another No. 2 selection, Atlanta forward Marvin Williams."

Come on now... Beasley has dropped 20+ points on the Hawks 6x in his 8 career games. The Heat are 5-3 in those games. He had 18, 12 and 22 points to close out the playoff in 2009 vs the Hawks. But whatever.

I'm going to leave the rest of the article for you guys to read. But before I go... here's Beasley's sit down article when he got out of rehab.

Honestly Beasley disappears way too often. Sure if he scores that many points in some games then he has to average well below his season averages in the rest of the games, and his season averages aren't that impressive.

The point is not that he hasnt reach his potential and expectations yet, thats obvious. But the overreacting comments as if he shouldnt be in the league, or he should be just dumped. Yes he been an erractic player, but it doesnt suggest that he is not good. The fact is, Beasley is a good player. Just too many extreme overreacting comments about him. Earlier someone called him a drug lord, just because he got caught smoking weed.

Tbh they all played horrible except Wade,

Chalmers played decent.

Beasley- 10 and 6rpg 45% shooting 50% from 3 in 27mpg

Haslem 6 and 7rpg 35% shooting 28mpg

Arroyo 5 and 2apg on 46% shooting 24mpg

Jermaine 5 and 6 on 20% shooting!!!!!! 23 mpg

Q 9.8 and 4 on 40% shooting 40% from 3 30 mpg

Dorell- 5 and 4 on 36% shooting and 25% from the 22mpg

Beasley played horrible, but he wasn't worst, or 2nd worst. Its really still amazing how Wade willed the heat 1 win, when nobody besides him scored more than 11 per game.

But.. but the team played much better with Beasley on the bench and Haslem in, and that's a fact!!!!

Oh wait no it isn't, its a made up piece of bullsh*t.

You've got it backwards. Knicks fans would be overrating the hell out of Beasley and trumpeting him as better than Rose, the next Bernard King. Look at the hype for every young player that has played for the Knicks the past 10 years.

Its actually the exact opposite of the Knicks board, people are being too realistic.

Wonder how many GM's called Riley after this rumour too. Could be leaked by Miami to get teams enquiring about Beas.

I'm sure he'd make the local YMCA all-star team. Seriously though Beasley is a decent player, I'm not here to debate that. My point is that the move is to clear space for that 3rd max free agent which I believe would highly interest Pat Riley. Miami is a great location and destination for free agents and I think they have a good chance at getting whomever they choose if they are able to clear the space.

Beasley has more mental mistakes than anyone in this team, and that's because he's a big dumbass on the court. It made me understand why Spoelstra kept Beasley on the bench on key moments throughout the season. Because while Haslem may have struggled at times during the season, Beasley does even more bonehead plays despite having stats.

We already seen a picture of him drunk asleep on a boat during his "rehab". So they do share some common interests.

Quite honestly, I think his BBIQ is the biggest reason he's been so difficult to trade so far. The only type of players who are given a pass for being "a big dumbass on the court" are ones with elite physical traits.

Can't wait to see what Riley does next month.
