The guy scores 29 points taking just 22 shots, and we all seem to think "well, he could do better".

That's just awesome.

HE LEADS THE LEAUGE IN SCORING, HE HAD A PER OF 23.5.

The amazing part - it's true. he's really still not in full rhythm after the surgery and down time. he's just strating to get his grove back. and HE WILL get better.

His per was 21.24 and 29 points on "just" 22 shots isnt a good look when you have someone like Allen on the floor with you. The only touches Allen got in the 4th were technical FT's. Why take so many bad shots when you have a ton of help on the floor?

Part of Allen's quality is to be a decoy in order to open up room for everybody else. Boston, knowing about his shooting qualities, focused on shutting him down. Wade had 9 points on 3/6 from the field and 3/4 from the line in the 4th, that's solid. I really don't understand all the complaining and nitpicking about Wade when we played very well as a team and won the game in a convincing manner.

Let's just say a few posters around here have their own different agendas, some of them are not necessarily Wade fans or even Heat fans (which is pretty much the same).

At one point the gap was closed with the game on the line because of bad/forced shots being thrown up, remember they went into the 4th with a 19 point lead. Now luckily Bosh took it upon himself to take high percentage shots when it was really needed, which was the turning point, swinging the game back in The Heat's favor. Allen isn't a decoy, he's an excellent shooter and was 5/7 last night so he's someone you want to have the ball firing off from his hands late in games. You just don't need to force bad shots when you have other scorers on the floor with you.

His Per was 23.3, check your stats and STFU ballboy. 29 points on 22 shots is better than what 99% of the players in the NBA will do against the Celtics. it wasn't a perfect game and his not 100% yet, that was my all point. he's a stud even when he's not up to his ridiculously efficient standards.

Hahaha dude you need to calm down no need to get emotional/overprotective...yikes

Of course is part of Allen's role to be a decoy. He was feeling it from downtown and Boston adjusted to it by playing him tighter, which then resulted in more space for D-Wade and Bosh. That's called being a decoy and is a really simple concept of basketball.

Also, the reason Boston made their run was because we couldn't get any stops anymore. Scoring 27 points in the 4th is good enough, but the 4th was the Celtics' highest scoring quarter at 31. Barbosa in particular just went on a tear with his speed and his fresh legs. He was a very efficient weapon for Boston in a fast paced game and I'm surprised they didn't use him more earlier in the game.

Regarding CB, he played very well, but he had 7 points on 2/4 from the field and 3/4 from the line in the 4th. His aggressiveness sure helped us towards the end, but during Boston's comeback, he missed a couple of jumpers as well. Ultimately, teams are always gonna make runs at you, especially ones with the quality and resiliency of the Celtics. The important part is that we don't panic and survive those runs by answering at the right point.
