All I really want to see from Wade next season is a more reliable 3 point shot and less fading on jumpshots. If he can get a consistent 3 point shot going, it'll make dribble penetration much easier. Instead of defenders encouraging him to take the shot, they'd have to close out on it which would make driving right past them much easier. The unnecessary fades need to stop, there is no reason to take a fadeaway when you can just square up and take a regular jumper.

Wade seemed well aware of all the criticisms that has been directed towards him, so I expect him to have a bounce back similar to the one he had following the 15 win season. He thrives on people doubting him, and when he talked about the possibility of getting a shooting coach it became clear that he is aware of what he needs to fix. Hope to see Wade going straight up for mid range Js again. Also, I hope Ray can give him some nice pointers on how to become more consistent from the ft line.

Goddamn, I enjoyed watching that. :D

At any rate, I don't worry about D.Wade. He'll come back next season ready to continue kicking ass.

But anyway, Wade should be fine now and I can't wait to see this team with Ray and whoever else joins.

Wade's unstoppable when he is healthy. Can't wait.

I just want everyone healthy for the playoffs. Regular season just to build chemistry. LEGGO!!!

Maybe he thinks its cooler..Like when you play 2K games, most of my game winning shots would be a 3pt fade away attempt...

Wade made a fantastic decision to pull from the Olympics this year. Dude needs the rest. Any news on him possibly heading to Germany for the Kobe surgery?

That'd be nice.

To be honest, other than health that's the only part of his game I think really needs work. He's had a post game for years and years now, I remember him beasting in the post back in the 04-05 season when Shaq was missing games the first 2 rounds of the playoffs.

Dwyane Wade had his knee surgery Monday, out eight weeks

The only reason Dwyane Wade isn’t running with Team USA and otherwise melting in the Las Vegas heat right now is his left knee wouldn’t let him. He needed it drained during the playoffs and was dragging his left leg around, his trademark explosiveness cut down.

This is supposed to keep him sidelined for about two months, meaning he should be ready to go when Heat training camp opens in October. If he and Chris Bosh can stay healthy, and with the addition of Ray Allen, the Heat should be better next season. Which is bad news for 29 other teams.

Like the sound of that. Like someone said Wade is fueled on people doubting him, it's like it only takes a sub par season for him to be an afterthought to people or the media.

I expect him to come back stronger next season for sure.

I thought the German thing was more of a treatment/rehab than surgery, but maybe Im wrong.

So Wade only has one month to train with Grover and the shooting coach before training camp is that going to be enough. What is he even going to for the next 8 weeks before is knee is fully recovered like what can he do.
