Yep and big 4 claims

To be fair though, Cole played completely different when he first signed with the Heat, matter of fact Chalmers and Cole both looked like studs. It's pretty funny (or sad) that both have basically declined or not improved since their rookie year and still make bone-head players, especially Chalmers.

That said I think I WILL calm down on the Ennis hype until at least 1/4 of the season. To me though he has more upside than both, he's long, quick, athlete and has a high motor. If he improves his handle ala Paul George and Durant did and he's basically a better version of Luol who was an all-star.

We'll know more about Ennis once he hits the rookie wall. How he navigates that will determine his worth. Cole was looking good right until he hit that wall. Then the wall fell on top of him and pinned him down for about a year. Only now is he developing into a solid PG. I hope Ennis' time in the NBL, where he did face adversity, has prepared him better for the step to the NBA. Cole went from a small program straight to the big leagues. Ennis at least got some development.

Cole's hype grew singularly from his performance late game versus Boston early in season 2 of the big 3. One game. Then many latched on to his nice man to man defense and waited for his offensive game to come back. It never happened. I remember Kyrie and Cole were thought of in the same terms for that week or so.

Why is it not surprising that ppl like this all ready give up on him? I can't wait for Ennis to shove the ball down the gullet of the Cavaliers. I'm patient.
