All I can say is I'm fine with these pre-season struggles as long as the coaching staff continues to make progress with all the new guys in the squad. It's going to be tough watching some games during the regular season no doubt but I hope they can use this time effectively and iron out the short-comings.

It was an entertaining game nonetheless and I have high hopes these guys will continue to build their game so they fit good within the Heat's system. On to the next game...

Pretty exciting game.

- Deng meshes with this group nicely, especially along side Wade.

- Bosh is going to ball this season, his rebounds are going to get a huge boast as well.

- Wade I wont judge yet, still need to see more games to fully analyze.

- Brown actually played fairly decent, need more samples of him to fully evaluate his backup role behind Wade.

- Ennis.. My god he will be a baller, dude will be raw.

- Other players like Napier/Granger and other new guys are still a question mark, need more samples.

- Cole was... well Cole.

- Birdman was Birdman, high energy, jumping all over the place.

- Chalmers... please leave this team.

Today's performance from bosh is what i expect from him for you guys during the season. To think he did all that in 20 some minutes.

It's too early for me to say that he will be top 5 but Bosh IMO will be in the MVP candidate race. Dude is a baller & people sleep on the fact that he gave up the most to be a third wheel

It's all up to his team now, he will deliver barring any injury's. Hopefully Wade gets back into game shape soon.

Loved what I saw out of Bosh and Deng....i really believe we can be ECF bound if Wade & Granger play up to par. Haven't even mentioned McRoberts yet....he'll be HUGE for us.

Wade will have to be a lot more aggressive than he was last night though and he needs to understand that. When he was aggressive, good things happened for the team. We don't have a lot of guys with good dribble penetration, decision making and passing ability, with Deng and him possibly being the only ones who are good at it. Everybody can play as well as they want to, but it's Wade who will dictate whether we'll be a lottery, a borderline playoff or possibly an ECF team.

Arguably the team's three best shooters (R. Williams, Ty Johnson and Dawkins) haven't played a minute this preseason so far and don't figure to have a prominent role with the team or make the team at all. Napier and Wade are below average. We have a bunch of "average" long range shooters (35%-37% 3FG) in Deng, Granger, Brown, Bosh, S. Williams, Chalmers, Cole and only consider Ennis and McRoberts as above average at this point when talking core players; so yes, we are going to struggle shooting the long ball.

Note: The league 3FG average last season was 36%.

What is scaring me about Wade is the way hes been talking to the media regarding the new team. Its as if he is satisfied with his career, and doesn't show the hunger we saw from young Wade to win a ring. Wade was talking about he feels more relaxed about not expecting to be in the Finals every season, and how Cleveland and Bulls are the East favorite. We would never hear such comments from Kobe.

I haven't been a fan of his comments lately, and its looking like its reflecting on his game.

We won't be legit contenders with Bosh as the #1 option. Lets be realistic. As much as I like Bosh, hes not that type of player.

I think hes more relax with pressure out. Wade is fine. Hes working with grover and it tells you alot. If he wasnt training with him that would be an alarm.

Magic fan here.

Enjoyed your thread, read the last 10 pages. Like a couple of you guys said, fun Pre-season game, our thead was super positive too (Ben Gordon was getting the Chalmers treatment there)! Looking forward to seeing DWade getting back to pre-LeBron DWade, his legs looked good. Good get w/ Ennis.

We still can't secure defensive rebounding. I like the way Ennis played. He has a lot of energy and athleticism. Deng played well. I think Shannon Brown should make the team, at least we'd see one or two great highlight plays every games. Bosh is still the same Bosh.

He'll grab a few rebounds in spurts and go in the post a few times, but overall he's still the same jump shooting big man. We're still going to struggle against great rebounding teams. Wade is playing at least 50%. I'll judge how he plays in the season opener.
Thanks for all the great memories, LeBron! The show must go on! #Heatnation
