I always remember the JVG quote, quickest way for a coach to end up sitting next to the fans is to listen to them.

:noway: y'all always crying about what other fans are complaining about. So they both cant play now? He's a rook, he should have been playing. We all know jones aint making the team, waste of time

So put one of them at PF where you know they would fail?

Regardless, one of these PGs need to be traded.

Man, it would be nice if he could keep Dawkins and Johnson, but it's not going to happen. With time they could be very good players. It's crazy how we have found such a good group of young players (Ennis, Napier, Dawkins, Johnson, and even Birch) - just at the wrong time. I don't think we can afford to develop them. The Heat have to contend this year. It's a matter of honor, and we won't get there by playing a bunch of rookies no matter how talented. It's a pity.

With respect to the Napier starting issue, I think his work has justified giving him a starting position, but the Heat are all about loyalty. It will be Chalmers starting against the Wizards - unless he's injured.

Yup. I feel like I got too involved in preseason. Rio is starting, Cole is coming off the bench. Napier is going to be sitting for a while.

I'd rather send Birch, TJ, and Dawkins to Perth to develop. Worked wonders for Ennis.

Yeah true about the start of the season... this team is about loyalty. I don't mind Chalmers starting tbh, it's about Cole vs. Napier. Cole has good qualities still. I guess we'll see.

Cole's contract also expires... so yeah. I think by midseason Napier should be getting the 2nd most minutes at PG. They have got to make Cole the 3rd stringer. Thing is, if Cole shows an ounce of being valuable, like making his shots, it guarantees more play time. lol

We also don't have the rights to everyone that we'd like... can't just stash them. They have other plans than to wait on us. Wouldn't be surprised if another team picks them up.

put TJ in the D league, will likely get better there. Shannon Brown will probably be more valuable to the team in the long run
