Ha. They're crazy. I've been in that building many times, and it can get crazy loud. We have one of the best home advantages in the postseason. I believe it's been mentioned numerous times that it's a formidable places to play in the playoffs.

Anybody who's witnessed our playoff runs in the early 2000s wouldn't make statements like the ones the Wiz' announcers made. Hell, all I do when I hear stuff like that is recall our playoff runs in season '04-'05 & '05-'06 and that about does it....to this day, I don't think there's been a game since that's quite matched that noise level, but our sellout crowds in the playoffs are top notch.

Solid win, didn't like everything but it's important to get off to a good start. Wade turning it up in the 4th after what was overall a subpar night makes you feel nostalgic.

I'm pretty sure they do. But, only 2-3 times a game for like a 15 second sequence. I was there last night and it was loud and active. They only pump some additional noise when they put the "Noise Meter" on the jumbotron and challenge fans to get as loud as possible. But, like i said, that only happens a couple times a game probably totaling less than a minute total of the game time. They've done it like that for years.

They definitely are not pumping noise throughout the game

I loved seeing Deng's hustle and how disruptive his length can be. That, paired with his discipline and instincts is what really makes him great on defense.

Ennis is long and wiry like Deng, as well. He can be a great mentor for Ennis. I'm pretty sure Ennis played some SG at one point tonight. With Ennis continuing to work on his D, a pairing of Ennis and Deng for some minutes each night could be a very long and disruptive wing duo. I like it

Whether they do or not, what pisses me off the most is the home town announcers trashing the Heat and their fans for years, and in such unprofessional ways. From "thuggery", to Tommy Heinsohn mocking UD's mom's death (it was intentional, don't try to tell me otherwise), to Charlotte/Washington/whomever acting like douches towards the fanbase, it's all bush league.

You'll never hear this kind of sh*t from Eric and Tony.

That's what separates us from other organizations. We are first class organization, family oriented. Starts from owners to announcers to players to staff. You will never hear us give crap about other organizations.

It's not coincidental that the franchises you mentioned (and let's be honest, post Bird-era Boston qualifies other than their Big 4 run) are rinky dink, clown franchises that never achieve success. They don't know how to conduct themselves with class and professionalism because it's never been demanded of them.

Damn last nights game was delicious. Sorry I couldnt be on, my newborn wasnt having it. Multi tasking is that much harder.

But Damn my boy Ennis. MAKE IT NASTY!

BUt it was so gratifying seeing my Husband come back in the game and put the punctuation on a great night.
