RELAX!!!

Post#1 » by Alex36199 » Sat Nov 15, 2014 11:54 pm

I am new to this forum so first i would like to say hi everyone. Anyways, I've done some looking around at some threads, and can tell you guys are massive overreactors. Overreacted over Williams, and are overreacting over last night. We were missing Wade, McBob, Granger, and Hamilton, and we were still in position to win the game at the beginning of the 4th.

However, there are some question marks here. I think Spo is a good coach but some of his decisions (usually personnel/lineup decisions) have me scratching my head.
I don't like the 3 guard lineup one bit, especially since we don't have a 7 foot rim protector, and we are playing small in the first place.
The Cole and Chalmers combination is God-awful.
Ennis needs to see more playing time, I believe the reason he is playing so tentative is because he fears any mistake he makes will make Spo take him out of the game (which has proven to be true as of late).
If we aren't gonna play Dawkins, why didn't we sign Birch?
When is Spo gonna figure out how to defend the three and make proper adjustments for the three?

Anyone saying this team should tank is crazy. This is a completely new team with all new players getting acclimated to a new system, and we are dealing with some injury issues. We have beaten Washington (albeit shorthanded), Toronto, and Dallas, and that should not be overlooked. This team CAN CONTEND for a title, and I can say that objectively. I still don't like Chalmers.

Lastly, Williams is a beast.

Couldn't help myself:)

Dude named Alan3456789ten comes on to the board and says people are overreacting. New boardies have to come on here and suckle on the teat a bit first. Coming on here and berating some of our long time board members with their first post? Douche-ish if you ask me.

It wasn't my intention to "berate" anyone. I just think there's a bit of overreacting going on here not even 10 games into the season. Just my opinion.

I'm fine with how we're doing. We obviously need to trade Cole or Rio for either a legit backup 2 or as part of a deal for a 5. Roster is imbalanced right now.

I agree with trading either Cole or Chalmers. We need a rim protector.
Is Okafor still a free agent?

Yeah he is, coming back mid-way through the season though a lot of teams are going to hunt him down for a contract.

Including Cavs -_-

I feel this way about some of the posters that have joined(not viewed) less than 5 years before any poster, but it is what it is, a free sports board

hope that he is willing to come to the heat because that would make everything easier for the heat, specially bosh playing at his natural position

Wont be surprised if we make a mid-season signing for a big (see: Dampier, Turiaf) but I wouldn't get my hopes up with Okafor. Would love him here no doubt if he could be at least 80% healthy, but even that is a huge question mark right now

Thabeet, Hassen Whiteside both scrubs can be had for cheap but Deandre Jordan was just as raw as them only difference is he got forcefed playing time and is still learning how to play.

Cut Dawkins, practice squad player? enough sign some rec league guys as assistants. Cut Shannon Down
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Cole will be traded, Napier will be our future PG and Chalmers is playing really good.

don' tell me what to do!

http://firespo.com/

I honestly think we have a pretty decent team. I am hesitant to say it, but I actually like Mario. Of course he has some terrible moments, but for the most part we are losing and hes frustrated. It's selfish and all the rest, but he has some clutch moments, and makes some big plays for us. Last year he was pretty average for sure.

McBob intrigues me. I look forwrd to everybody being healthy and getting a solid rotation established.
