Home fans vs. Road fans

Post#1 » by Wolfy1983 » Sun Jan 11, 2015 11:58 pm

Sometimes I think the Heat road fans are more passionate about our team than the fans that show up to our home games. It was great hearing them at the game today.

the only time I heard chants were in ATL, Nets when they were in Jersey, and now

they do sound more passionate, probably because they are in enemy territory, but lets not act like this happens all the time

the 3 places that happened in, have worse fan bases as much as we get **** on

Bulls chants were loud too against Clips this year

You should see NY teams down here and Laker teams anywhere when they're in contention. Freakish.

Going to be honest here. Coming from the city of Los Angeles though...that was great. I'll say this again, hopefully it happens again against the Lakers.

I saw a ton of Heat jerseys in the lower bowl area, everytime Hassan dunked its like the majority of them got their hands up and cheered

it was kind of weird honestly

NY fans definitely are rowdy... in 2011 when they got Stat and Melo they came here and were loud but after that not much

if NY becomes contenders again somehow under Phil and we got into rebuilding or some ****, it will get ugly...

heck it'd get ugly now if NY wasnt tanking

Our fans suck at home. They really need to lower prices (especially when we're not good) so we can get more of an atmosphere from the real fans that are currently priced out.

LOL not by any means at all, there were a lot of heat jerseys in the stands. I attended the game today. Even the staples center security mentioned "There's a lot of heat fans here today." I might attend the Lakers game on tuesday, hopefully the turn out is just as good for that one.

haha NY fans are rowdy. I live in LA and my first and only ever Heat game was in 2011 when the knicks played the heat. It was melo, amare, billups. I just remember the knicks fans yelling "WE'RE BACK" See you in the finals lol

Same with Dolphins fans. The home fans are average but the road fans come out in droves.

Road fans only get to see their teams in person once in a while. The same happens with Steeler fans in the NFL.
