Re: JaVale McGee
But at what cost? Any move right now could upset team chemistry. Dump Walker, and Beasley's play takes a hit. Dump TJ, I'll set something on fire. Napier's deal is guaranteed. We invested too much time in Ennis to let him go now, plus the McRoberts injury exception expired a few weeks ago without anyone noticing.

You're right but we have guys on our roster that don't help us at all. We need bigs badly. If Whiteside goes down we have nothing. Birdman can be great in 12-15 min. A night but more than that and he struggles and I can't handle anymore Beasley or UD at center.

Team has only 2 active players at 6'10" or above (White and Bird) and both have been snake bit yet we keep dragging our foot.

So you think we should just drop a player sign him and play him with no practice time?
That would be a lot to ask for a player with a high BBIQ.

Oh we've probably passed that point.
I wanted him back when he was released. You don't have to be a psychic to see a situation where you only have 2 bigmen that are actually big could be an issue. Birdman especially has been gimpy all year

Bird will be an expiring contract after summer. Riles will prolly flip him for a useful piece before X'mas. All is well.

Re: JaVale McGee
Andersen has played almost as many regular season minutes as last year. 1396 vs 1037 with 11 games to play. He started 19 of his 53 games. Last year he was in 72, but never started. His PER of 16.0 is his lowest since 2009-10, however it is still 5th highest on our team, slightly ahead of Luol Deng.
I remember 11-30 with these guys. ^

With the way the injury's are shaping up (along with the suspensions) we could certainly use another big body, no matter how mentally slow they are.

So who are you cutting?
I think Beas, Walker and Ennis have all shown enough to be with us next season.

They could have played rock paper scissors and cut the loser. Another decent 7 footer would have looked really good right now

Would be nice if we can trade for Jusuf Nurkic on the cheap as our new back-up C.

Who are you trading for him? And you know we can't do that this season don't you?

It is just one of my wet dreams. I would not do it if I am Tim Connelly. Then what do I know, Tim has been gutting his team all year and Riles has a reputation of getting the best end of the deals.

That's their center of the future. He's not going anywhere

I don't know. Maybe they want Bird's expiring
Or perhaps we can engineer a 3-way trade that gets Denver someone they want. I really don't know. It's like how Dragon and Zoran got gift-wrapped and turn up at our doorsteps.
And if we cannot have Nurkic, then either Steven Adams or Tyler Zeller will make my day.

I'd easily cut Walker for Javale.

He wants a contract for this season only and a player option for the next season. All interested parties want a team option for next season.

I see all of those players as being expendable, we will have the whole summer to adjust this team. But either way I don't see us winning the championship soooo I think it's pretty moot.
Edit: Walker, I take back is not expendable this season. His D and 3 point shooting is very needed right now.
