Fran always has a hard on for foreign players. Riley IMO does not feel the same unless it's already proven.

Do Slovenians and Croations have a good relationship? I only ask because you would think a young foreign player would look for guidance from other foreign players. Would the Slovenian Dragon brothers be accepting of a cocky young hot shot croation?

Will Mario be one of those foreign players that we might have to wait a year or two until he can come over? Like Mirotic and Saric.

Completely right. They all used to be joined as Yugoslavia. A lot of War once countries split.

So who do you suggest @Panda? Does Riley even keep it?

Winslow, Stanley Johnson, or trade the pick and Mario Chalmers for proven veteran. In that order. And thank you for clarifying the relations between Slovenians and Croations. Not saying that the Dragon brothers and Mario Hezo can't get along but it's something to think about. People sometimes have to factor in the human and political aspect.

You should probably also factor in the reality that there is a zero percent chance that Winslow falls to 10

Absolutely. Winslow is wishful thinking. Might be an outside chance we can trade up for possibly Stanley Johnson but I would not be surprised in the one but if the pick is packaged with Wario for a ready to win now shooter.

I work in Switzerland a good part of the year at a company with Slovenians, Croatians, Bosnians, Albanians, Makedonians (hard C), Serbs, and Albanians. The war was nearly 20 years ago. There is some resentment with Serbs still among the older people, but it's history. People do get along. All of Europe has fought each other at one point or another. Many of the same people that fought against each other fought together against the Ottoman Empire and the Austrian-Hungarian Empire.

Trade up with Detroit please! 10th pick plus 40th pick and either Chalmers or Napier... Hell take both for the 8th pick.

I wouldn't trade Shabazz for the 8th pick, Unless we were guaranteed someone like Stabley or Winslow. Even then I wouldn't want to trade Bazz. I feel like a lot of people around here have given up on him after 1 ROOKIE season, which is crazy.

I like Bazz too, but if Hezonja is there at 10, I do the deal in a heartbeat.
Hezonja has athletism; handles, and shooting. He just needs to improve his shot selection and get stronger, I think Mario can be an AS in this league.

nice video on Stanley Johnson and we can get his mom to be the coach she is hardcore. Reminds me of Durants mom pushing him early.

Here are some player comparison ceilings I found for players in the Heat's range. One of them will most likely be there at #10.

Stanley Johnson (SG/SF)- Ron Artest
Mario Hezonja (SG) - Klay Thompson
Kelly Oubre (SF)- Rudy Gay / Paul George

I have a gut feeling that Charlotte is going to reach and draft Booker, or Kaminsky.

I like the Stanley Johnson one best. I'm a little unsure on Oubre. Scared he is a Wes Johnson

Has wingspan police qft123 complained about Stanley Johnson's wingspan? It's listed as 6'11 but it looks kind of underwhelming (qft123ly speaking). Am I imagining things or is he hyped to be next Panda Friend type defensively. :-?

What worries me about Stanley Johnson is that he finished so poorly despite having the strength and size advantage

I actually read a post on reddit that said a starting line-up of Dragic/Wade/Deng/Bosh/Whiteside would have the longest average wingspan in the league, so we're good in that department 8-) .

How about that. lol

I'm not as conscious about wingspans as qft123, but I hate to see obvious very questionable measurements???

Stanley Johnson looks to be 6'6 220 at most with super average wingspan no? 6'8 243 that's Carmelo Anthony+.

Just so you'll know - Charlotte fans already rocking Mario Hezonja sigs.

We're not getting him unless we move up. Pistons and Hornets need shooting too.

Rio and Napier are a price I'd be willing to pay.

Or we can pray Stanley Johnson falls. Still very risky.
