Not eligible for a new contract. We would have to decline the player option, which would allow him to be an unrestricted free agent and we would have same rights and offer as any other team. I'm sure Riley wants to see Hassan do what he did for an entire year next year before seeing what he is worth.

No we didn't. It's averaging $18M a year. If the cap goes up 40-50% next year, that's the equivalent of $12-13M per year. That is an absolute steal for Goran's talent.

People are going to look at some of these contracts and scoff, but aren't factoring in the massive pay increase coming. Both. Dragon and Bosh are on good deals. Bosh's money looks high because of the 5th year, but when we compare his 5year deal to all the ones coming this year and next, it's probably not even going to make the Top10.

During Bosh's last year of the contract, there will players making 30-40 mill annually. It's a lucrative time to be a good NBA player.
