If that comes true then Lebron would lose in the process and it is probably a bonus. But don't fool yourself, if Lebron asks to come back Riley would take him if it helped him win more rings (though this time he won't be blinded and would treat him as nothing more than a rental).

If you've ever seen Jordan's Hall of Fame speech where he basically talked a bunch of trash  he had a part where he mentioned Riley. IMO Riley was one of the few he didn't trash. He mentioned how Riley was the only guy he ever met that was as competitive as he was. This was high praise.

Riles is all about the rings and stays focused on the big picture. Trying to stop Lebron as a goal is just petty stuff.
At the very least, he's reinvigorated. Losing LeBron must've been tough.

As far as the communist/socialist hidden agenda going on right now, I must say that it has been a work in progress since the early 1900. The socialist ideal could not tackle the capitalist ideal head on so the best way was to infiltrate the system via media, Hollywood, schools, tv, sports etc etc etc.

One effective way is to turn classes against one another (old communist trick )..rich against not so rich, different races and origin vs each other..At the end ot is only to create governmental control with businesses regulations and government dependency (health, jobs , money).

The problem is that the government gains all the power and then that's when corruption over the masses becomes.

America is facing a very dangerous times IMO.

Having experienced communism and socialism first hand, I must say, be careful what you wish for. A lot of misinformed and blinded people today.

This title is too misleading, reminds of me Dan Gilbert's opening letter title, pls no.

I do think Lebron leaving has reignited the hunger. He wants to build one more champion for Miami. I think it wasn't just Lebron leaving it was taking away what he thought would be his final great team to contribute to NBA history.

Now I think he just wants to get one more title. Not even about building a great team. He just wants one more title to go out on.

I think it's great. We're really fortunate to have him, and I hope the Heat have a good succession plan for when Pat leaves. It will be hard to replace his force of personality AND basketball knowledge.

Hopefully Erik can stop sucking, and become the coach the has the obvious potential to be, and be able to take over that president's roll too, because I think Spo has a really great demeanor and it would give us amazing continuity.

This will be a big season for Spo, because I think last season got away from him. This is his chance to retool like he did after the Dallas series, and come back better than before. Time to re-invent how we play yet again.

Yeah, no. Riley is about winning, he doesn't care about LeBron. You already didn't have me, but you completely lost me with the "Protesting this rigged, socialist-communist BS". I mean what the hell. Are there actual people in the US who really think there's a growing influence of communism in the country? Obama is far from a communist. He's not even a socialist. A clear cut social liberal who's meddling around because he knows he won't be able to spark a huge change in United States, raise taxes and create a welfare state. That's what Obama originally strives for, but he won't be able to do it. United States is way too big and has way too complex of a makeup to handle a welfare state effectively, it'd take decades to balance everything out.

Not to mention the baseless "rigged" allegation. Rigged indeed, that's why the Spurs and Warriors won the last two titles while Lakers and Knicks suck mighty ass.
