He says he wants to play 3-4 years... Honestly I think him and Wade retire together

i agree but it would not hurt if he stays as a side coach teaching how to be grittyChalm Down wrote:DefenseWins wrote:Chalm Down wrote:

He can't be serious about 3-4 years. That jumper is gone and he can't finish at the rim anymore. I'm sorry UD, but I think it's time to pick up a clipboard...

Actually telling him before doing it. Miller was beloved by the locker room. Take your HEAT goggles off.

Miller himself said he knew he was going to be amnestied. Maybe you got some goggles that need taking off ...

dancing2thabeet wrote:Eh, everybody knew Miller will get amnestied right after that new CBA.
Also, the narrative that James was upset after the amnesty because the big 3 took paycuts to keep Mike is such bullcrap. They took paycuts to keep Haslem. Miller was on MLE, so his contract would be the same whether big 3 took paycuts, got full maxes or vet. min. contracts.
It's now official: Miller will play for the Heat next year. He signed a five-year, $30 million contract yesterday, using cap space the Heat cleared from trading Michael Beasley to Minnesota.
Beasley played two seasons with the Heat in his initial stint, before being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves on July 12, 2010, in a move that cleared salary-cap space for the signing of swingman Mike Miller.
