Assuming our 2016 1st does get conveyed to Philly, that means we only have first rounders in 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2022. We cannot trade consecutive future #1 picks, so none of these are available as sweeteners.

Good tho... Or else we would have definitely used those as sweeteners for salary dumps... Would hate that

Dorell Wright,or Beasley would be nice.

So, our roster right now looks like this.

PG: Goran Dragic - Mario Chalmers - Tyler Johnson
SG: Dwyane Wade - Justise Winslow - Josh Richardson
SF: Luol Deng - Gerald Green - James Ennis - Henry Walker*
PF: Chris Bosh - Josh McRoberts - Udonis Haslem
C: Hassan Whiteside - Amare Stoudemire - Chris Andersen

Did I miss anyone? Pretty solid squad taking shape here.

Rumors of Beasley in camp. Also we might bring some summer leaguers - tough to say who though, maybe Joshua Smith?

I think Zoran can get a comparable contract in Europe plus get some playing time. Everyone wins if you ask me.

roster spot clearing. If it was penny pinching we would've pulled a kings and given other teams a big asset to take Rio and Bird off our payroll since they get paid much more than Bazz and Zoran.

It seems like all sides wanted this to happen, landing Gerald Green and drafting Winslow pretty much made it impossible for Zoran to make the rotation.

Zoran deserves playing time, I just wish it was with the Heat. He's a very solid player.

No rumors, just speculation by bored writers. I could see Smith invited though. Yeah.

It would be awesome if Riley sent someone to negotiate for him...

Lucca: "Ainge, Pat, wants to make you an offer you can't refuse"

Ainge: "But last time he told me to STFU, I am still hurt"

Lucca: "You need to learn your place son or you will sleep with the fish. Now, you will take Zoran, give him this cash and STFU"

Ainge: "Yes, tell the Godfather that I'll do as he wishes"

Jesus, we had to give up a legit pick (as opposed to the smoke and mirrors one we received) and had to send out cash to make this happen?

No, it's called pennypinching. We can't give other teams assets to take on Rio/Bird, because we don't have any to give. We mortgaged our future picks for the big3/Dragic, and not to mention no one wants our trash (rio/bird), atleast right now. We as fans can be in denial all we want, but the Heat are penny pinching and trying to save money. I personally don't care, it isn't my money. I'm just calling as i see it.

Shabazz was the 4th best PG on the roster and Zoran was the 4th best SG . Shabazz is going to be a third string PG on a non playoff team so I'm not really stressed about losing him. I'm stressed that we didn't draft Kj McDaniels, Clint Capela, or Jordan Clarkson in that draft really. Zoran will get his wishes to get playing time somewhere else now that he's gonna be a free agent. You're making it seem so much worse than it really is lol.
