I think this team could be a 55-60 win team.

So.....i wonder if all we are doing the rest of the off-season is waiting for a team to take on Chalmers & Bird. & if so we can possibly sign another player on vet min, is that correct or nah?

Yes, but now that Andre Miller is gone, who would you sign for Chalmers's spot at backup PG?

We should keep Chalmers and Birdman.

We've got months before we need to rid ourselves.

Almost literally no options better than Rio atm, we'd have to make a bomb *** trade or pick up some off the radar player who hadn't played on a nba team the previous year... usually like to believe Heat have extra cards up their sleeves but I'm not that confident that there's planted seeds anywhere to be found this time

Not any real good possible trades either, unless we catch some team with their pants down

The better option (if something must be done at all) is to trade Birdman ($5M). We could still sign JaVale McGee or Carlos Boozer. The team won't be as good, but we will still be competitive.

Get Kendall. He's actually been a good back up PG these last few years. His shooting struggles have been really overstated

Would take McGee in a heartbeat, let Carlos Bum play with the LOLKnicks.

McGee has lots of injuries and a low bbiq (judging from some of his plays). Birdman isn't the healthiest guy either though.

I still prefer Chalmers and Birdman, but hey it's not my money we're spending.

I agree. Health permitted, there is no reason we can't match up against any team in the league and we've built a deep enough roster that one or two guys being out a night is not going to sink our ship last year. We just have to pray that the injury bug does not bite us as hard as last year. These guys talking about we're barely better than mediocre are crazy.

I dunno about McGee, really... He is a good C but he's not a bright guy. Makes a lot of dumb plays like trying to dunk from the free-throw line and almost killing James Jones. There's a reason no one has signed him yet.

Agreed, I'd avoid McGee like a plague if I were Pat.

I like the people saying we have the same starting lineup as last year.

"They didn't make the playoffs last year with Dragic and Bosh, why would they be such a good PNR duo now?" I mean, I understand people hate us. But why do they have to be stupid while doing it?
