That Wade > Curry/Lebron/KD

If he had a better team around him back then more people would have known that.

And that's ok, we'll get the short end of the stick soon enough. It'll balance itself out. The good thing though, is it allowed Miami to get comfortable, confident, and a better overall chemistry build up through consistent wins. It will prepare the Heat for hard times coming, which is plus for us Heat fans. Last thing you want is a team that hasn't played long enough with each other demoralizing loses early in the season, making the coaching staff and players make adjustments when their was never a need to.

What's good is that defense always travels and usually is even better on the road.

So i see us being a pretty formidable road team.

I cant' say I've enjoyed watching a team this much since the wade, odom, butler team

Obviously the lebron years were great, but seeing a young team with our veterans buying into this style of play is really awesome to watch.

It does make you wonder about the fairness of the schedules though, and how they can dictate a team's success or failure.

With young Whiteside + Winslow + TJ here, we've got a defensive core set up for years to come. All 3 (yes, TJ too, don't sleep on his superb defense) are upper echelon defenders for their positions.

I love that we're getting back to Heat Identity - smother teams and take the life out of them.

Not gonna lie, I'm already dreaming about adding a 28-year old Paul George to that core in the 2018 offseason.

We just need Dragic to buy into that. We all see the transformation that Bosh underwent from Toronto to here. He went from being average at best on D to anchoring our D and he continues to be one of our best and most versatile defenders.

We're always going to be a slow team, it plays into what we're trying to do on defense.

It sucks that most of his prime was spent without a true big. For anyone that disagrees with your statement about Wade being better than the best players in todays game just look at this Miami Heat team. Imagine a 27 year old D Wade on this squad. We'd be a 60 win team easy. Two star bigs plus a top 5 defense...

Alas Wade's prime was spent running the PnR with Joel Anthony and Udonis Haslem. Hell I might as well also throw in the worst screen setter of all time Micheal Beasley.

Its not that he's a bad defender. Its understanding that unless we get a turnover we're not going to look to push the pace because that goes against what we're trying to do defensively which is force teams to take tough shots in the half court. This play style is unlike anything he's ever played in before.

Phoenix looked to push off of everything make or miss. We try to keep the game suffocatingly slow for our opponent.

Rome was not build in 1 day.
I know few his friends and so i know what type of ppl he is.
He lives for family and basketball, he allways been team first-Dragic second player.
This team dont have superstar who can win matches so they need to play team basketball and that we saw yesterday.
Give it time its only 12 games.
