correct me if I'm wrong, but there's nothing Bosh can do to make the team play him? Even if he gets cleared from a 3rd party doctor its at the teams' (coach) discretion to decide if they are going to put him on the court. Makes me think if they really have any intention of ever allowing him back on the floor

Well I guess they can't make Spo give him minutes but if he's medically cleared the clock will reset and I doubt the Heat would be able to waive him and remove him from their books in that event.

The players association has a lot of pull. If Bosh does get cleared by a 3rd party no way do the Heat refuse to play him.

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

Was talking to a few doctors about the Bosh situation while on my rotation today, and none of them expect him to be medically cleared to play. Too much liability, too much risk.

Of course, that's based on what little has been released to the average listener. There's much more we know nothing about, so that places those doctors you spoke to at an analytical disadvantage.

Why does it say I don't have permission to reply in the FA thread?

IF he comes back, we need to play him all the backup minutes behind Hassan at Center, and the rest at PF

C rotation : Hassan - 34 minutes/ Bosh, 14 minutes

PF rotation : Bosh - 16 minutes/quick 3 point shooter stretch 4 player : 30 minutes

Heat are in a weird situation. They played better with a faster PF (Deng) but are paying Bosh and will prob lose Deng.

They could use an upgrade at the SF position. Durant would be sick. Winslow could slot in to replace Deng but his shooting needs work.

If they had Whiteside last year they would have been a lock for ECF.
