I don't think it's a coincidence that we don't get blown out that easily against GSW where 85% of the league does. You need athletic bigs who can enforce the middle and control the board against that team. Too bad that with injuries and general lack of star power, we are nowhere near being a contender. oh wellz

So, why GSW crushed Utah this season?

I don't know MOS maybe they don;t have hassan?

I never watched GSW vs Utah games this season but in one game Utah only had like 5 reserve players AS FAR AS I KNOW. And they have played with GSW pretty competitively last season when healthy. bring me smaller sample size for an argument MOS

No, going back to last season and maybe the season before, and this season where Hassan is integral part of our team and GSW are championship team with current core. That's the biggest sample size we could have

We have had 4 out of 6 competitive games against GSW. 2 seasons ago not so much but one game at home Hassan didn't play. that's 4 out of 5 games we played them decent. if you dismiss it due to small sample size that's fine.

It's not enough to land a top 10 pick, we need to be amongst the top 3 in order to have a good chance at landing a franchise player, an absolute game changer. If we continue to rack up enough garbage wins thanks to garbage players such as Dion Waiters, that hope could end very soon.

Has nothing to do with the organization. The players on the floor are going to compete, they have no concept of "tanking", they've been competing their whole lives they cant wire their brains to lose just to please the same 4 miserable realgm posters (you guys know who you are). Look at Hassan's tweet, does that look like somebody who has any idea what "tanking" is or wants any part of that?

The organization, meaning management and the coaching staff, can fully influence the roster and the playing time, hence it does lie in the hands of the organization.

It's also not about being miserable but rather being realistic.

We're rolling out new lineups every week, pivotal role players are missing time, and we got a guy fresh out the D-League playing crunch time minutes against the Warriors. What more do you want?

All of this happened out of necessity, because we were hit by injuries and forced to such actions. But just look at the minutes distribution against the Warriors. McGruder played the least minutes out of all the starters. Goran and Hassan each played 36 minutes. Off the bench, it was our veterans Ellington (27 minutes) and Johnson (33) that played significantly more minutes than Reed and White (11 each). We rotated like a team that wants to win.

I'm not complaining about the players playing hard and giving it their all. But I am complaining about us throwing major minutes to guys who play no significant role in our future, yet help us win more games now at a time when it's not a necessity.
