Well, to keep this Canes forum oh so lively I thought I'd give this a response

Glad to see Staal re-upping with the Canes, it'll make them a playoff team or close to a playoff team every year with him playing solidly. But if they want to be any better than a 7-8-9-10 spot they better hope some others step up on that team as well.
