I found Part 1 to be kind of a waste of time and boring but I’m still pretty excited for Part 2

It's a pretty old story, based on William Adams.

I could not get through the first one. I acknowledge that I have a Timothée Chalamet problem. Not sure what it is, but I find him extremely off-putting.

That's a strange criticism considering he didn't actually do anything. He was bait.

One of my complaints of the first one is that I felt it completely lost momentum after
I watched it twice and both times I had the same reaction. Two won't solve the Chalamet problem for you, though.

Yeah. I'm hoping it expands to the whole Asian saga from Clavell.

Dune 2 was one of my favorite cinematic experiences in quite some time. Saw it at the Imax and it was one of the few movies that really needs to be seen that way.
It's definitely not for everyone. It's art house sci-fi. Which seems made for me. An overwhelming number of beautiful shots.
Still thinking about it 2 days later and will be seeing it again in theaters.

I am super stoked to see Dune 2 this week and pleasantly surprised that my girlfriend wants to join me, I was fully prepared to go by myself.
Also going to have to start Shogun this week after reading about it elsewhere and seeing the feedback here.

Curb Your Enthusiasm - not really anything with spoilers..
It’s so odd, watching Richard Lewis in new episodes and knowing he passed. For one thing, he looks terrible, the guy looks like he has very advanced cancer. Secondly, the jokes and bits revolve around dying and wills. So I find those scenes so sobering. I guess in conclusion, I’m glad Larry got to pal around with his best friend a few more times.

Very surreal seeing Richard Lewis. He wasn't in any episodes last season due to his health. They initially met at a summer sports camp at age 12
“I disliked him intensely. He was cocky, he was arrogant,” Lewis recalled. “When we played baseball I tried to hit him with the ball: we were arch rivals. I couldn’t wait for the camp to be over just to get away from Larry. I’m sure he felt the same way.”

Masters of Air has gotten good. Knowing some of the characters more has definitely helped. Looking forward to this week's episode. Looks great.

I feel like this is the 3rd or 4th movie trailer I've seen recently where an older woman falls for a younger man. I think Natalie Portman had one come out like last month. Must be a cougar movement in hollywood

Would've been handy if this was in fashion when I was 20 and not 40.

That looks surprisingly good. Didn't realize Jonathan Nolan was directing most of it and Goggins is one the more trustworthy tv leads out there.
