Giannis trying golf on his Snapchat last night was pretty hilarious. Looked like a cool place, must be in Cali or Florida, somewhere warm at least

I love this kid's competitive spirit. He's one of the few that I believe when he says he's going to work on getting stronger and improving his shooting. That authenticity is something I saw in him at the All-Star game, where all the other great players were goofing around and Giannis was dropping hammers and competing. Seeing him improve from 18 to 22 this dramatically cements my opinion that he truly will work at adding new dimensions to his game. The previous generation of top talent coasted a lot on their athleticism. I'm thinking of Amare Stoudemire, Dwight Howard and even LeBron James. It took LeBron how many years to develop a go-to post game so that smaller defenders couldn't match up with him anymore. Heck, his jumpshot is still lame in my opinion. Dwight Howard and Amare never really developed their basketball skills in the post to match their great athleticism. And Giannis already can post smaller defenders and get to the basket. Great maturity from someone still 22 years young. With health and a competitive will to improve, this kid could become the best all-around player in the league. He reminds me of a taller and longer Scottie Pippen, and even Scottie admitted as much on The Jump and admires the kid's game. If he polishes his post play, ball-handling and develops a reliable jumper it's going to be nearly unfair for the NBA because he's unselfish and a creative passer.

Giannis' golf swing is actually good, he just doesn't want to make people jealous. It helps the team win when he decides to not swing a golf club better. He's an extremely hard worker, so you know it's a good golf swing. I bet he's even golf swinging right now. If you don't believe me look at his last .1% improvement since last years golf swing.

Saw a video of him on Facebook at a gym which looks like Dayton. Pretty sure that's where his younger brother plays. The video is him getting guarded by a player and he extends his hand for a handshake. His defender accepts it and Giannis pulls him forward "trump style" to get by him to do a windmill dunk. Pretty funny

Some things it's better to show them than explain them.. you could just add the video. :)

hope giannis wont play with his national team this summer and work on the 2 things he mentioned

Sounds like he wants to go into next season with some continuity.

Τhis thing about Giannis and what he should do with his summer comes up every frigging day in the post season, and it's a long ass post season. We should start a thread whether Giannis should play for the NT or not and keep it all in there.

IDK why but this video made my eyes tear up a bit. We have a legit superstar on this team that can be the best player in the NBA if he can knock down open shots. We better not screw this up.

Interesting lbj mentioned how important the playoffs experience was to his growth when he was 22. Could not help but think what Giannis is going through right now with the grueling 47 minutes game 6 he went through and this up and down series he just experienced.

I always feel it's a little unfair to compare him to one of the greatest players ever, but definitely feel this was a great learning experience for Giannis.

I know Kostas does not have the same basketball talent but he seems having the same body and this must worth something

I thought the same. Kostas will started younger than Giannis with professional development of Basketball Skillz and will have more years in his youth of perfect development (food, training etc.)

Alex will have even more of this advantage.

So the least will be a young Kosta or Alex with BB Size, body and a family that is fully dedicated to BB.

This will lead automatically to a solid BB Player at least. For our NT I expect at least Thanasis Level (for Kosta, Alex is too young to tell now).

At least we will have a big, athletic player that will be able to protect the rim, run fast breaks etc.

With Thanasis, Kosta and Giannis our Paint (NT) will be like a castle.

So defense wise I expect a huge impact.

(Offense will be a problem though as long as the other 2 players on the court besides those 3 will not have Curry-esque shooting skills  )

It's a bit surprising he is only going to Dayton, he must be really bad at this point. Blue bloods would be all over him if he had skills
